“… Ludvig Gudim kicks things off with a fluid, light, unpretentious, but wonderfully polished interpretation of the 4th Violin Concerto. He is particularly impressive in the technically masterful and at the same time extremely expressive cadenzas by Joseph Joachim. There is also nothing but good to report from the orchestral side. Conductor Howard Griffiths is an attentive partner to Gudim (and also to the other two soloists), who knows how to breathe with the soloist. The flute concerto is played by Josephine Olech with virtuosity and sensitivity, but technically lacks polish. Jeneba Kanneh-Mason delivers a well and expressively played interpretation of the 6th Piano Concerto…” ****
